| Vinyasa yoga is a flowing practice of yoga poses that emphasizes breathing techniques that are used as you move through each pose. Vinyasa combines hatha yoga and Iyengar teachings. This class includes breathing exercises combined with poses and stretches that promote health in the mind and body. This class ends with a short meditation to nourish the mind and the body. |
| Vinyasa Yoga Level 1 |
| In this class you will learn the basics of yogic philosophy and beginner yoga postures (asanas), and deep breathing techniques. You will learn how to link the poses utilizing the breath. Every class will flow the poses together differently, and teach you what poses are good for certain conditions. Every class ends with a deep relaxation, and / or a guided meditation. |
| Vinyasa Yoga Level 2 |
| Building on the principles learned in Level 1, you will already have a good basis on the breathing techniques, and will use that knowledge to learn more advanced asanas, and more difficult flows. You will also have a clearer understanding of how yogic philosophy relates to your life, and learn more advanced inversions and deeper mediation techniques. |
